The much anticipated Cantonese Food
Festival commenced with much fanfare at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on 10th
August, 2017 with prominent VIP guests swarming the lobby. The hotel has been
decorated with southern Chinese decor to give this event the tantalizing
ambiance of Guangzhou food tradition. A diverse array of Cantonese delicacies
will be available during this festival from 10th August to 19th
August, 2017.
“Cantonese” Cuisine is the Southern
Style of the Broader Chinese Cuisine, lighter and fresher flavours than its
cousin Sichuan Cuisine, fresh seafood steamed to perfection / silky home-made
dim sums, golden pecking style duck imported from Australia, Clay “beggars
chicken”, double boiled soups just to name a few of the signature delicacies
being showcased at the festival.
Christoph Voegeli, General Manager
of Radisson Blu Water Garden, says, “In the beginning of this year,
we aimed to become the number one F&B hotel in the country. And, based on
achievements and guests comments we can confirm that we are on right track.
This grand event will also add another feather in the crown”
For the opening night there were
already rave reviews received from the VIP’s, Honorable guests and members of
the media which attended the opening nights dinner buffet. Guest commented on
the interactive live stations, quality of Cantonese food and high standard of
culinary technique.
For this Cantonese Food Festival, the airline partner is Cathay Pacific, the hospitality partners are Radisson Blu Shanghai and Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay View. Supported by Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Chows restaurant, the Pepsi co. as the beverage partner and Argonauts Limited as silver sponsor.
